Privacy Policy

How MCV collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Introduction

MCV Agence de Soins à Domicile S.E.N.C. (“MCV,” “we”) operates mcvhomecare.ca. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the site, why we collect it, how it is used, protected and retained, and the rights you have, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (“Law 25”).

Business: MCV Agence de Soins à Domicile S.E.N.C. — NEQ 3382378993
Email: info@mcvhomecare.ca — Phone: (438) 388-1709

2. Person responsible for the protection of personal information

Under Law 25, a person must be designated as responsible for the protection of personal information. This responsibility falls to:

Cassy Dieudonné, General Manager and Co-Founder — info@mcvhomecare.ca

3. Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily complete one of the forms on the site. Depending on the form, that means:

  • Housekeeping quote request: name, phone, area, cleaning type, preferred frequency and, optionally, email, preferred start date, type of home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, home help requested and comments.
  • Home care request: name, phone, area, type of support requested and, optionally, email, preferred callback time and comments.
  • General contact form: name, phone, area, services requested, who the service is for, desired frequency and timing, how you heard about us, preferred callback time and, optionally, email and additional details.
  • Professional referral (/professionnels): your professional contact details and organization, the referred client's name and phone, the service required, the level of urgency, optional logistical notes and your confirmation of the client's consent.
  • Job application (/en/careers): the information and document you send us.

Every form includes a consent checkbox you must tick before sending, plus an invisible decoy field used only to filter automated submissions.

We do not collect detailed health information through the website. Clinical information needed to deliver care is collected separately, in person, with your explicit consent.

4. Cookies and tracking

The site loads Google Tag Manager (container GTM-TN97D9MZ), a Google service used to manage the site's measurement tags. Google Tag Manager may set cookies and receive your IP address along with standard technical connection data. Depending on the tags enabled in the container, other Google measurement tools may be loaded in turn.

The site sends that tool a small number of technical events: a click on a phone link, and the successful submission of a request form (housekeeping, home care or professional referral), together with the service type concerned. No name, phone number, email address, comment or health information is ever sent to a measurement tool.

The site displays no advertising and sells no information. Fonts and icons are served from our own domain, with no third-party call.

You can block cookies in your browser settings; the forms and the rest of the site will keep working.

5. Why we use your information

To respond to your request, assess your needs, arrange service, handle administrative follow-up and billing, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.

6. Who your information may be shared with

Your information may be shared with Netlify, Inc., which hosts the website and technically processes the contact form. Netlify is a US-based company, so your information may be processed or stored outside Quebec. We do not share your information with any other third party without your consent, unless required by law.

7. Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to respond to your request, follow up on service, and meet our legal obligations, including tax-related ones.

8. Your rights

Under Law 25, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, have inaccurate information corrected, withdraw your consent, and file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI). To exercise these rights, contact us at info@mcvhomecare.ca.

9. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time.
