Help at home for someone you love
Looking for support for a parent, a spouse or a loved one? We start by listening, then explain plainly what we can do. In French, Creole and English.
Areas we serve
Four ways we can help
You do not need to know in advance what you need. Here is what we offer; we will work out together what fits your situation.

Personal support and daily living help
The everyday things that become hard to manage alone. Our personal support workers (PSW) help your loved one with bathing and hygiene, dressing, moving safely around the house, eating, and using the bathroom. Always at their pace, and always respecting their privacy and independence.
For people of all ages, not only seniors.

Companionship
Sometimes the real need is simply not being alone. A regular, familiar presence: conversation, a coffee together, cards, a walk outside, going along to an appointment. It is often what changes the mood of a whole week.
This service does not include clinical care.

Respite for family caregivers
If you are the one holding everything together, you need to breathe too. We take over at home for a few hours or a full day, so you can rest, work, see a doctor or go away with peace of mind. Your loved one stays home, with someone they can trust.
One-time or recurring, whichever you need.

Nursing assistant care
Marlie, our co-founder, is a nursing assistant and a member in good standing of the OIIAQ (permit no. 89224). She works at home within her scope of practice, under a medical order or a care plan set by the professionals already following your loved one: wound care support, help with medication, follow-up after surgery, and coordination with their care team.
This care requires an existing medical order or care plan. Before committing, we check with you that the request does fall within that scope of practice.
What happens after you call
You tell us about your loved one
A call or a short form. We listen to the situation and answer your questions, free and with no commitment.
We assess the needs together
A meeting, at home or remotely, to understand your loved one's daily life and what would genuinely help. It is also when you meet the team.
We agree on a plan
Services, schedule, who is assigned: all confirmed with you before anything starts, based on our real availability.
When can service start?
It depends on the service you need and on our team's availability when you call. MCV is a small, growing agency: we would rather give you a date we can keep than a fast promise. From the first conversation we will tell you honestly what is possible and from when. If we cannot meet your need, we will say that too.
A small team, clear roles

Cassy
She is often the one who answers your first call and coordinates setting up the service.
Vicky
Available according to needs and schedules. We confirm with each agreement who will be supporting your loved one; we do not guarantee a specific worker in advance.
Home care is tax-exempt and always invoiced separately from housekeeping. More about our team.
Let's talk about your loved one's needs
A few basics are enough. We will call you back to talk through the rest, unhurried.
